Timeless. Romantic. Elegant. These are some of our favorite words when it comes to planning a dream wedding here at Endless Dream. We love to design a space and create an atmosphere inspired by the ancient "classical" cultures of Greece and Rome. Read on below to find out 3 keys ways to infuse GrecoRoman inspiration into your big day.

  1. Architecture. You may not think about architecture when it comes to designing your wedding, but this ties back into picking the perfect venue. For a Greco Roman inspired wedding, seek out venues that look like Italian castles or vineyards. Italian or Greek restaurants are a great beginning point as well. If you decide on a standard hotel, country club, or banquet hall for your venue, you can still infuse the GrecoRoman look through decor pieces that mimic Italian villas or castles.

  2. Music & Entertainment. Don't forget about music before the ceremony, or during cocktail hour! What better time to have live musicians playing piano, harp, or an amazing string quartet as they welcome your guests into the venue? They can play the latest hits, but with the classical instruments, it adds a touch of class that is hard to beat. Also, consider hiring living statues to add a fun and unique touch to the guest experience!

  3. Food. Who doesn't love a good gyro with tzatziki, or a delicious dish of saganaki? Perhaps you're craving a delicious lasagna, meatballs or gnocchi? While you may not have Greek or Italian food on the menu for the dinner at your reception, look for ways to still have Greek or Italian food elsewhere, like meatballs at the welcome reception for the weekend, hosting your rehearsal dinner at a Greek or Italian restaurant, or even hiring a late-night pizza truck. Opa!
